Letter from the Publisher
It’s our 13th year of publication and Mountain Living has made some huge advances in the mountain market.
Each year, I seek balance between our core product initiatives and new, innovative ideas.
In 2007, we built the Natural Dream Home, our first-ever luxury, green dream home.
Because of its overwhelming success, we will build another green home in 2008. Our Dream Home series exemplifies ML’s commitment to responsible development in the Rocky Mountain West.
Last year, we published our 2nd Annual Real Estate Issue, which was the top-selling issue in Mountain Living’s history. We were pleased to learn that 61% of ML readers will buy or build a mountain home in the next 12 to 24 months. Our 2008 Real Estate edition will be even bigger and better.
Our annual Best of the High Country issue has been a hit with our readers since 2001. Because summer has become a second high season in the mountains, we have added a Best of the High Country summer edition.
In 2008 we are offering the following NEW features to generate more business for YOU:
• A brand-new www.mountainliving.com that will deliver an additional 35,000 unique visitors with new features such as: professional portfolios, showrooms, maps, highlights, newsletters and more.
• Increased distribution of 50,000 copies (an increase of 25% more readers: 150,000 readership) per issue.
• Natural Dream Home 2008: There are dozens of opportunities to participate in our 2nd Dream Home in the exclusive mountain town of Cordillera, Colorado.
• Advertiser Programs: Renew or begin your advertising program now and we’ll include event sponsorships, new web programs and networking opportunities.
Our readers are your customers. They have a demonstrated ability to buy the products and services advertised in the pages of Mountain Living.
We look forward to working with you in 2008.
Many Thanks,
 Holly Scott, Publisher
